Now Playing Tracks

Pessimists have the best surprises, and no fall is so deep it leaves no chance of a timely lift. This might seem somewhat shallow (or even maudlin), but the truth is that when you bottomed out at your lowest, there is only one way left (up and away!). This applies also in music: as much as you would like to rise continuously through the scales and reach Eternity, they are finite and sometimes you need a little dip before you go on the rise again. It would be much worse to find yourself stuck on the same old rut; and even worse to notice that everyone else is moving about.
